About Arosa

Arosa, a sunny resort at about 1800 m at the head of the Schanfigg valley in Graubünden, is one of Switzerland's most snow-sure family destinations, linked since 2014 by the Urdenbahn cable car to Lenzerheide to form an area of around 225 km of pistes. Its own slopes climb to the Weisshorn at about 2653 m and the Hörnli, offering wide, gentle cruising, sunny intermediate terrain and easy access from the town. Reliable high-altitude snow, ski schools, rentals, a snowpark, mountain restaurants and a relaxed Alpine-town atmosphere make it popular with families and intermediates.
