About Steamboat Springs
Steamboat Springs, a Western ranching town at about 2100 m in Colorado's Routt County, sits below Mount Werner and is famous for its trademark Champagne Powder and superb tree skiing through aspen glades. Around 3,000 acres and some 165 trails climb to about 3221 m (10,568 ft), with a gondola, fast chairs, long groomed cruisers, big beginner zones, renowned glades and a strong terrain-park scene. A friendly cowboy-town atmosphere, hot springs, ski schools, rentals and a lively base village make it a favourite family and powder destination.
