About Olympia SkiWorld Innsbruck

Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol and a two-time Winter Olympic host (1964 and 1976), is the gateway to the Olympia SkiWorld Innsbruck - around 13 ski areas reachable on a single ski pass and free ski bus. They range from the steep Nordkette rising straight above the old town to the Olympic slopes of Patscherkofel, the wide family terrain of Axamer Lizum, Muttereralm, Glungezer and Schlick 2000, the snow-sure heights of Kuehtai, and the year-round Stubai Glacier nearby. Together they offer terrain for every level, extensive snowmaking, ski schools, rentals and mountain restaurants - all on the doorstep of a lively city, one of the few places where a major city and high-alpine skiing meet.
