About Sölden

Sölden is a major ski resort in the Ötztal Valley of Tyrol, Austria, known for high-altitude skiing on the Rettenbach and Tiefenbach glaciers, extensive interconnected pistes, and a modern lift system including high-capacity gondolas and chairlifts. The resort hosts early-season World Cup races on the Rettenbach glacier and offers a large, varied ski area suited to all levels, with snow-sure conditions thanks to its elevation and glacier access. The lively base village features numerous hotels, après-ski venues, restaurants, and wellness facilities, while the mountain area includes multiple on-mountain huts and viewpoints such as the BIG 3 panoramic peaks.
