About Serre Chevalier
Serre Chevalier, in the sunny Hautes-Alpes near Briançon, links four villages along the Guisane valley - Le Monêtier-les-Bains, Villeneuve, Chantemerle and Briançon - into one of the largest ski areas in the southern French Alps, with around 250 km of pistes. Rising from about 1200 m to roughly 2800 m, it is known for extensive tree-lined runs, reliable southern-Alpine snow and sunshine, and varied terrain from gentle cruising to steep blacks and off-piste. Hot springs at Le Monêtier, a snowpark, ski schools, rentals and mountain restaurants round out a relaxed, scenic resort.
