About Les Arcs
Les Arcs, above Bourg-Saint-Maurice in the Tarentaise, spreads across the purpose-built villages of Arc 1600, 1800, 1950 and 2000 plus Peisey-Vallandry, and forms part of Paradiski - linked to La Plagne by the double-decker Vanoise Express cable car for around 425 km of pistes. Its own roughly 200 km of varied terrain rises to the Aiguille Rouge at 3226 m, home to one of the Alps' great long descents down to Villaroger. Tree-lined runs, wide high-altitude cruising, steep challenges, a snowpark and the famous Bourg-Saint-Maurice funicular sit alongside ski schools, rentals and mountain restaurants.
