About Canazei
Canazei, a lively village at about 1465 m in the Val di Fassa of the Trentino Dolomites, is a key gateway to the famous Sellaronda circuit around the Sella massif, within the vast Dolomiti Superski. The Belvedere and Col Rodella sectors rise to about 2400 m and link directly into more than 500 km of connected pistes, with the dramatic Sass Pordoi cable car climbing to nearly 2950 m for off-piste and views. Mostly scenic intermediate cruising amid Dolomite peaks, plus ski schools, rentals, a snowpark, mountain huts and Ladin hospitality, make it a favourite touring base.
